I used a piece of my own white card as my base and cut four 2.5” pieces of patterned paper as shown. I then matted them on the Pineapple Bliss and the Whirlpool card stock leaving a tiny border on each layer to ensure it fits 4 across the page. Place them one third of the way down and adhere in a row.
Cut your photo to 4” square and mat on the same cardstock.
Place this, without sticking it down, slightly overlapping the middle two squares, a little to the right. Lightly sketch a faint pencil line around where your photo will go. Take the photo off again.
Next take a sunburst stencil and stencil so the Sun rays come from behind where the photo will sit using Distress Oxide in Scattered Straw. In addition I splattered more of the same oxide ink where the two floral clusters are shown in the photo above.
I used a different stencil but you’ll get a similar effect if you use the one listed below.
Position the photo and stick down. Next fussy cut two floral clusters and some stars and arrange them as shown, raising some up on foam tape.
I added some lace from my stash beneath the photo and placed sequins around the floral clusters.
I then added the title which I cut from the cut apart sheet and used a black icon sticker from my own stash.
