April (Month in Five) by KAREN MOSS

April (Month in Five) by KAREN MOSS

April was a very busy month with a couple of trips to Newcastle, several walks in the local bluebell woods and a few days looking after Little E whilst his parents went away.

I started this double page by gutting a one inch border from two pieces of cream cardstock.  I then trimmed 1/4" from each side of two pieces of 49 and Market Rust and Revs Handsome.  I cut my title from the centre of one of these and then added to the two cream frames.

From the gutted cream card I cut a 6" photo mount from one and a 6 1/2" photo mount from the other.  These were added to the centre of the paper.

I used a Uniquely Creative cog die and some Kraft card and cut five clog clusters.

I adhered a 5" square photo to the 6" photo mount and added it to the left side of my double page and four 3" square photos to the 6 1/2" photo mount which was then added to the right side of my page.

Two cog clusters were added the top left and bottom right of the left page and three more added to the right side - one at the top left and one at the bottom left and one at the top right.

I then added light bulb die cuts, taken from a Mintay Art Journal Ephemera Pack - Grunge,  to each cluster, finishing off with some rusty stars, which I had in my own supplies.

I added my title and two number labels and a hinge, also from the Mintay ephemera pack.

Supplies used:

Rust & Revs 2.0 - Handsome (two sheets)

String Of Pearls (two sheets)

Kraft/Classic

Art Journal Ephemera Pack - Grunge
