Always Thankful by KAREN MOSS

Our little Northern family went to the Lake District for a few days, in May, and I was treated to lots of fabulous photos being WhatsApped to me. I particularly loved this one of Gracia and Ezra by a lake as they both looked so happy and relaxed. Ezra was actually eating a picnic lunch but I managed to cover the food, in the photo, with embellishments.
In my previous blog post, I mentioned how very little needed to be added to the beautiful Starlight Dream papers to make a lovely scrapbook page. All I used for this was three papers, laser cuts and some stars from the Wishing Bubbles pack plus two words from the chipboard words pack.
I started by gutting a 1" frame from a piece of Surreal paper and trimming 1/8" from all four sides of a piece of Magical paper. I then added the Magical paper to the Surreal frame, cream side showing.

I cut all the 3" x 4" cards from the Tranquil paper and chose two with frames printed on them. My 5" square photo was placed in the centre of my page with one 3" x 4" card at the top left and another at the bottom right.

Chipboard words were used for the title on the righthand card and journaling written on the left one.
I added Laser cut flowers and butterflies to the top and bottom of my photo (I used lots of foam pads for this), along with two large die-cut butterflies (From my own stash).

To finish I scattered a few star wishing bubbles around my page.
