60th birthday layout: by Louise Crosbie

60th birthday layout: by Louise Crosbie

I’m sharing another layout today. I know! Two in one month! What’s that about?
lol
Well I used to say I’m not a scrapbooker. I just like making layouts with nice paper now and then. Actually I said it just last week.
But here I am, actually documenting a family event in a layout. I’m going to have to start admitting I’m becoming a scrapbooker.

This is a layout of my husband on his 60th birthday. I keep telling him he will soon be as old as me but clearly I’m always just a bit ahead. And boy does he like to remind me of it. 😂
I particularly wanted to use some of the piles of paper ephem I’ve had in the drawer for over a year so I can’t link you to everything I’ve used. But the main paper, leaves, rub-ons and paints, I can add links for in the supply list at the bottom for the page.

The “stack” sort of configuration I’ve got behind my husband’s photo is from various 49 and Market ephemera packs but I just can’t remember which ones any more. I’ve had them so long. It really was time to try and use them before I have so much back dated stuff, I can’t fit anything else in my ephemera drawer.
